1934, Willem Mengelberg inspects the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium

Documentary in which Mengelberg discusses the course of events before the outdoor concert on 2 June 1934 at the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium. Mengelberg notes that the men in the orchestra as well as the choir may have a drink to stay warm, but not the women in the choir "because they might get too enthusiastic".
