Alice Sinacori

Alice Sinacori started to play the violin with Elisabeth Wybou, then joined the class of Véronique Bogaerts in the young talents section of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. She then proceeded to study with Igor Gruppman and Vesna Stefanovic-Gruppman at the Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. 

In parallel to her violin studies, she developed a passion for the viola and decided to study with Leo De Neve at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. She is currently pursuing her master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under the guiding of Marjolein Dispa and Frederik Boits. 

Alice attended masterclasses with Lorenzo Gatto, Marc Danel, Diederick Suys, Tatjana Mazurenko, Razvan Popovici, Mathis Rochat and Roman Spitzer. 

In 2021, she won the first prize in her category of the Rudolf Barshai international string competition. 

A passionate orchestra player and chamber music partner, she joined such youth orchestras as the European Union Youth Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and the Netherlands Jeugd Orkest and is member of the Firgun Ensemble. In the 2021-22 season, she joined the viola desks of the Belgian National Orchestra and the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra as a member of the academy programme.
