In the third Daantje installment, Flute hears a nightingale sing. He has never heard anything so beautiful! From now on Flute refuses to play in the orchestra; the nightingale should perform the flute part instead. But when the nightingale comes to the rehearsal, things take an unexpected turn...

Earlier, Daantje the Conductor and a Horn with a Story and Daantje the Conductor and the Story of a Violin were published.

The stories are written by Erik van Os and Elle van Lieshout, illustrated by Emanuel Wiemans and published by Rubinstein

Daantje Dirigentje en een stilgevallen fluit was made possible thanks to ING, global partner of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

The books include QR codes that give access to the lullaby series Sssst... lekker slapen, previously produced by the Concertgebouw Orchestra with Zwitsal, part of Unilever, global partner of the Concertgebouw Orchestra.
